Sage Customer Relationship Management Software Application Suites

Sage offers over 100 business software products and segments the various solutions into the categories of: Accounting; Payroll; Customer Relationship Management (CRM); Financial forecasting; Payment processing; Job costing; Human Resources; Business intelligence; Taxation and other products for accountants; Business stationery; Development platforms; E-business; Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

Within the CRM software industry, Sage distributes the following three products.

  • SalesLogix is the most robust of the Sage CRM solutions. Key features include: account/contact/opportunity management, lead management, calendar and activity management, territory alignment and forecasting, campaign management, service case management, contract management, knowledge-base, customer self service web portal, mobile access via BlackBerry and Windows Mobile devices, disconnected web client, Outlook and groupware integration, data mashup integrations and either on-premise or on-demand deployment. Irrespective of deployment option, SalesLogix is largely priced by a combination of software module and suite (either Premier, Advanced or Standard) with additional fees for user counts and annual maintenance plan.

  • SageCRM is the company's midmarket CRM software solution. SageCRM is available as a stand-alone CRM system, however, because of its tight integration with back-office accounting and ERP systems it tends to be bundled with Sage accounting and ERP applications. The on-premises version costs $495 per user, while the hosted version costs $69 per user per month.

  • ACT! has grown from the days of being a single user contact manager. The system supports multiple users, mobile devices, integration with Outlook, Office and Hoovers and a user base of almost 3 million registered users, and more than 41,000 corporate customers. The product has particularly deep penetration in vertical markets such as agent-broker industries, financial services, real estate and insurance companies. Sage ACT! is priced from $229 to $469 per user license.
